Overview

DO Dashboard is a real-time dashboard that enables users to analyze order volume trends across different channels, types, partners and devices of T-Mobile. By offering dynamic filtering, visualizing data in line and bar charts, and accommodating custom date ranges, we aim to provide stakeholders with actionable insights to drive informed decision-making, operational management, and strategic planning.

The Challenge

Our mission is to design the DO Dashboard from scratch. Currently, the system for documenting and tracking orders and order metadata relies on daily reports, which limits the depth of insight available. Developing a real-time, scalable, and user-friendly dashboard will enable access to richer analytics, thus streamlining core workflows for DPO and insurance management users.

Current Reports

POV Presentation

The initial step is to prepare a POV presentation for the client to share our perspective on the problems, opportunities, and current situation. To gain a comprehensive understanding of the issues, I led a brainstorming session and collaborated closely with developers and the project manager.

Brainstorm Session

Key Findings

After gathering input from both technical and business perspectives and completing the initial research, I identified six key functions for the DO Dashboard.

Concept Design

Based on team discussions and research, and taking into account the project's scope, timeline, and client budget, the team proposed two concepts with implementable features.

Comparing Dashboard Concepts

  • The two concepts serve different ends of the spectrum.

  • The final implementation could be an amalgamation of both concepts. Refinement of the concepts is possible as the project progresses.

  • The recommendation for Concept 2 is based on the advantages it brings to customer experience and the potential to stand out.

Design Process

DO Dashboard is an ongoing project, with the team continuously working on it according to the design process outlined below.
